How Do I Report an Inappropriate User?
You can report a user in two way:
1. Via their profile page: If you come across a sketchy or inappropriate profile (photos, bio, etc.) you can take action right there and report it.
- Look for the Flag "Report profile" under the bio section and click on it.
- Select the reason why you are reporting this user and add any additional text if required and submit.
- Our safety team will receive an alert and will investigate the profile and behavior and take the appropriate action.
2. Via the Inbox: If you matched with another roommate prospect and conversation started to seem suspicious (check out 'how to identify a scam') or inappropriate, you can report the user straight from the chat thread
- Open the chat thread of the profile you'd like report and click on the 3 dots on the top right of the chat window.
- Click on "Report User".
- We'll receive the report and will investigate and take the appropriate action.
- You can also block the user to "unmatch" and cease receiving future messages from them. They won't be able to see your profile in the search results as well.
