I accidentally disliked a profile I was interested in. Can I get it back?
Yes, but it depends on whether you've already interacted with that person.
When you dislike or block a profile, it is removed from your personalized search results and will no longer appear while you're logged into your account.
Here are a couple of ways to find them again:
Option 1: You've already interacted
If the person previously:
- sent you a message,
- liked your profile, or
- matched with you,
you can still access their profile through the link found in your Message, Likes, or Matches email notifications. From there, simply visit their profile and send a message to start (or restart) the conversation.
Option 2: You haven't interacted yet
If you haven't exchanged any likes or messages:
- Log out of your Diggz account (or open Diggz in an Incognito/Private browser window).
- Navigate to the city where the profile was listed using the Take a Tour menu or the city links on the Diggz homepage.
- Browse the roommate search and use filters (age, budget, lifestyle, etc.) to narrow the results until you find the profile.
- Copy or bookmark the profile URL.
- Log back into your Diggz account and paste the URL into your browser. You'll be able to visit the profile and send an Intro Message if you're interested.
Tip: If you're unsure about someone, consider leaving them in your search results rather than disliking them. You can always come back to review their profile later.
