Having Issues Logging In With Apple ID?
If you originally signed up using Sign in with Apple and are now having trouble logging back into your Diggz account, don’t worry — this is usually caused by changes made in your Apple ID settings. Below are the most common reasons this happens and how to fix each one.
1. You Removed Diggz From Your Apple ID Settings
If you previously removed Diggz under your Apple ID’s authorized apps, Apple will treat your next login as a new user, but your Diggz account already exists. This causes the login to fail.
How to Fix
Restore Apple’s connection to Diggz:
-
Open Settings
-
Tap your name
-
Go to Password & Security
-
Tap Apps Using Apple ID
-
Select Diggz
-
If you see Stop Using Apple ID, Diggz is still active
-
If Diggz does not appear, this means you removed it
-
Sign in again on Diggz using Sign in with Apple and Apple will re-establish the connection
-
This resolves the majority of login issues.
2. You Changed “Share My Email” vs. “Hide My Email”
Apple allows you to switch between sharing your actual email and hiding it using a private relay email. If this setting was changed after signup:
-
Apple may send Diggz a different email during login
-
Diggz does not recognize it
-
Login fails
How to Fix
Switch the toggle back:
Settings → Apple ID → Password & Security → Apps Using Apple ID → Diggz
Make sure the login email matches the email originally used to register your Diggz account.
3. Your Apple ID Email Has Changed
If you updated your Apple ID email (e.g., migrated from Gmail to iCloud):
-
Apple sends Diggz the new email
-
Your Diggz account is tied to the old email
-
The login cannot match your account
How to Fix
Try logging in on Diggz using Sign in with Apple from a device logged into your old Apple ID email.
If that’s not possible, contact us to manually update your Diggz account email.
4. You’re Trying to Log In Using Email + Password
If your account was created using Sign in with Apple, you do not have a Diggz password unless you created one later.
Trying “Forgot Password” or regular email login will not work.
How to Fix
Always log in through the button:
Continue with Apple
5. Your Apple ID Two-Factor Authentication Is Disabled
Apple requires 2FA to use Sign in with Apple.
If 2FA is turned off, or if trusted numbers/devices were removed, Apple may block login attempts.
How to Fix
Turn 2FA back on:
Settings → Apple ID → Password & Security → Two-Factor Authentication
6. Your Browser or Device Is Blocking the Apple Login Screen
Safari or your device may block the login popup due to:
-
Ad blockers
-
VPN / iCloud Private Relay
-
“Prevent cross-site tracking”
-
Strict privacy extensions
-
Disabled pop-ups
How to Fix
Try one of the following:
-
Use a different browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
-
Disable VPN or Private Relay
-
Disable ad blockers for Diggz
-
Temporarily turn off “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking” in Safari settings
7. You're Logged Into the Wrong Apple ID
If you have multiple Apple IDs, or use a shared device, you may be attempting to log in with an Apple ID that was not used during signup.
How to Fix
Go to:
Settings → Your Name
Confirm the Apple ID shown is the one originally used to sign up for Diggz.
Then try logging in again.
8. Apple Issued a New Apple Identifier (“sub”)
In rare cases, Apple may assign a new internal user identifier (for example, after revoking access, restoring a device, or account migration). Diggz will not recognize the new identifier, causing login failure.
How to Fix
Remove and re-add Diggz inside Apple ID permissions:
Settings → Apple ID → Password & Security → Apps Using Apple ID → Diggz → Stop Using Apple ID
Then return to Diggz and log in again with Sign in with Apple.
